Aave plans Avalanche RWA hub with Tether’s USA₮

Aave has announced an Avalanche credit hub that will let institutions borrow USA₮ against tokenized assets as the RWA market exceeds $51 billion and Avalanche hosts more than $3.4 billion of the assets. Summary Aave’s planned RWA Hub will accept eligible tokenized financial assets as collateral. Institutions will be able to borrow USA₮ without selling their underlying positions. Each credit market will use separate collateral rules while drawing from shared liquidity. The first collateral assets and a launch date will be disclosed later. Aave RWA Hub will turn tokenized assets into collateral Aave Labs said in a Sep. 16 announcement that the RWA Hub will run through the Aave V4 deployment already available on Avalanche. The dedicated market will initially support USA₮, the U.S.-focused dollar stablecoin issued by federally chartered Anchorage Digital Bank with support from Tether.
