Adobe commits over $4B to expand AI deal with Saudi Arabia’s HUMAIN

Adobe is committing over $4 billion to deepen its AI partnership with Saudi Arabia’s HUMAIN, the sovereign AI company backed by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. The deal pairs Adobe’s generative AI tools with HUMAIN’s Arabic-first language capabilities, targeting a market of over 400 million Arabic speakers. As part of the arrangement, Adobe is also offering free access to its Firefly and Express products to 27 million users. What the deal actually involves The strategic partnership, originally announced at the US-Saudi Investment Forum, centers on a technical swap that benefits both sides. Adobe gets to integrate HUMAIN’s ALLAM model, an Arabic-first large language model, directly into its Creative Cloud suite. That means tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro could eventually generate content that’s culturally and linguistically tuned for Arabic-speaking markets.
