Anthropic reports more than 11,900 customers spending $100K or more a year

Anthropic now counts more than 11,900 customers who each spend at least $100,000 a year on its products. The company also reported net revenue retention of about 900%. That second number deserves a slow reread. Most companies are happy when existing customers simply stick around. Anthropic’s customers appear to be multiplying their spending instead. Anthropic, best known for its Claude family of AI models, used the session to show off how deeply enterprises are leaning on its tools. Technically, NRR compares what a group of existing customers spends today with what that same group spent a year earlier. A figure above 100% means the group is spending more. A figure of about 900% implies the cohort is spending roughly nine times what it once did. The big-spender group is also growing fast. The cohort of clients paying more than $100,000 a year has reportedly expanded roughly 7x over the past year. Further up the ladder, more than 500 customers now spend over $1 million annually.
