Anthropic just gave its AI a pair of eyes for design. Claude Design, the company’s new visual creation tool, can scan any live website URL and automatically extract its entire design system, including colors, typography, spacing, and reusable components. The tool, powered by Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.7 model, launched for Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers via claude.ai/design. What Claude Design actually does Point Claude Design at any URL and it pulls out the media assets, color palettes, typography scales, and branding elements that make that site look the way it does. The tool reconstructs those elements into a coherent, reusable design system. From there, users can generate prototypes, mockups, and landing pages that maintain brand consistency, all without opening Figma or knowing what kerning means. The platform also supports imports from codebases, Figma files, and PDFs. A June 2026 update added the ability to pull design systems directly from GitHub repositories, along with enterprise-grade admin controls for teams that need to lock down brand standards.
