Ark Invest adds 35,403 Circle shares in $2.9 million ARKW buy

Cathie Wood's firm keeps building its stake in the USDC issuer through its ARKW exchange-traded fund Ark Invest is shopping for Circle stock again. The firm picked up 35,403 shares of Circle Internet Group, worth $2.9 million, through its ARKW exchange-traded fund. The purchase adds to a position Ark has been building in the USDC stablecoin issuer since the company went public. What Ark bought, and how it fits the pattern Ark made multiple Circle buys throughout 2026. Those included a $5.5M purchase in May and a $17.3M purchase in August. In a separate transaction, Ark bought 65,615 Circle shares valued at approximately $5.2 million. That buy came after Circle stock fell 7.1% in a single session, pushing shares down to around $79.84. After that separate purchase, Circle made up about 4.3% of ARKW’s total holdings. The position was worth roughly $67.8 million. Circle shares, which trade on the NYSE under the ticker CRCL, have recently changed hands in the $80 to $82 range.
