AsiaStrategy and Plume sign MOU to explore a tokenized products JV in Asia

AsiaStrategy and Plume Network want to build a business that puts traditional financial products on-chain across Asia. For now, that ambition lives inside a non-binding memorandum of understanding. The two companies signed the MOU on October 1, 2026. It commits them to explore a joint venture focused on tokenized financial products in Asia and other non-US markets. Investors did not wait for the fine print, sending AsiaStrategy shares up approximately 27% to 31% in pre-market and after-hours trading. Who brings what to the table The division of labor is fairly tidy. Plume Network contributes the technical side: its tokenization infrastructure and the regulatory licenses it holds across multiple jurisdictions. AsiaStrategy, which trades on Nasdaq under the ticker SORA, covers the commercial side alongside its Sora Ventures network.
