Benfica has made a formal approach to sign Taylor Harwood-Bellis from Southampton, tabling a bid worth approximately €20M (£17M). Southampton said no, but not the kind of no that ends a conversation. The Portuguese giants have opened talks for the 24-year-old English centre-back, with multiple reports confirming advanced discussions between the two clubs as of mid-August 2026.
