Bitcoin is flowing back onto trading platforms. Centralized exchanges picked up a net 11,593 BTC over a three-day stretch, lifting their combined holdings to approximately 3.67 million BTC. What the numbers show The three-day inflow is the headline figure. Exchange reserves rose by 11,593 BTC, and total holdings now sit at roughly 3.67 million BTC. Zoom out to a month, though, and the direction flips. As of October 12, 2026, net outflows over the previous 30 days totaled 28,599 BTC. The biggest single move came from Santiment’s data. The analytics firm recorded a 24,073 BTC outflow in one day in early October 2026, the largest single-day exit in seven months. For one more reference point, a dataset from late September 2026 put exchange holdings at 3,668,100 BTC. That same snapshot showed 33,839 BTC leaving exchanges over the preceding week.
