US spot Bitcoin ETFs just absorbed $626 million in net inflows over three consecutive trading days in early August, with BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust doing what BlackRock does best: vacuuming up the lion’s share. IBIT alone accounted for $479 million of that total. That’s roughly 76% of all inflows going to a single fund. The asset management giant’s Bitcoin product has now accumulated nearly $61 billion in cumulative net inflows since launch. The numbers behind the surge The three-day stretch included one particularly strong session that saw $244.4 million flow into spot Bitcoin ETFs in a single day, according to data tracked by Farside Investors. Bitcoin itself traded in a relatively tight range during the period, hovering between $64,744 and $64,920, with a brief spike above the upper end of that band. Here’s the thing: this buying spree happened while the Crypto Fear & Greed Index sat at 25, a reading squarely in “Extreme Fear” territory.
