Bitdeer Technologies signs 10-year AI cloud deal in Malaysia with $1.1B annual revenue as Bitcoin miner pivots toward AI

Bitdeer Technologies Group just locked in a 10-year AI cloud agreement in Malaysia that’s expected to generate roughly $1.1 billion in annual revenue. The total value of the contract lands around $6 billion over its lifetime, and it arrives alongside an AI cloud pipeline that has already surpassed $7 billion across multiple agreements. What Bitdeer is building in Malaysia Bitdeer’s AI arm has been assembling infrastructure across Malaysia, with campuses in both Johor and Cyberjaya. The crown jewel so far is its 9.5MW A102 data center in Malaysia, which is already fully committed. That single facility is expected to generate more than $800 million in revenue over five years. Within that A102 campus, Bitdeer has secured a five-year contract worth approximately $400 million, covering roughly 50% of the data center’s capacity. That contract is set to kick in starting Q1 2027. Separately, Bitdeer signed a 10-year lease for 21.7MW of AI cloud capacity in Johor Bahru. That facility will house 128 NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems.
