Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin is out at MOUZ. The Swedish rifler’s departure marks the culmination of a roster overhaul that began in April when the organization benched him alongside teammate Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo after a disappointing showing at IEM Rio.
What happened at MOUZ
The trouble started at IEM Rio, where MOUZ was eliminated early in the tournament.
On April 18, MOUZ made its move. Both Brollan and Jimpphat were benched, a double removal that signaled this wasn’t a surgical tweak but a philosophical reset.
To fill the gaps, the organization promoted Adrian “xelex” Vincze from its academy squad MOUZ NXT. It also secured Justinas “jL” Lekavicius on a short-term loan from Natus Vincere. In-game leadership duties shifted to xertioN.
Brollan’s complicated exit
Despite being benched in April, his contract with MOUZ was set to run through the conclusion of the IEM Cologne Major. That created an awkward limbo where he was simultaneously not part of the team’s plans and still technically under its control.
Roster lock rules added another wrinkle. Because jL was brought in on loan after roster submissions for the IEM Cologne Major, he couldn’t participate in that event. The result: Brollan was slated to temporarily rejoin the active lineup for the Major, playing alongside the very team that had benched him.
Brollan had reportedly expressed willingness to consider a future role with MOUZ as a rifler. But as of June 13, 2026, no official permanent departure announcement had been made.
