Canada’s Public Sector Pension Investment Board picks up 100,000 SpaceX shares

Canada’s Public Sector Pension Investment Board, better known as PSP Investments, disclosed a holding of 100,000 shares in SpaceX as of June 30, 2026. The filing, published on August 13, landed quietly in a market still digesting the aftershocks of SpaceX’s record-shattering IPO earlier this summer. For a fund managing C$321 billion (roughly $230 billion) in assets, 100,000 shares barely registers as a rounding error. One of the largest pension managers in Canada, responsible for the retirement savings of military personnel and Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers among other public-sector workers, has decided that SpaceX belongs somewhere in the portfolio.
