Centrifuge tokenized assets hit $1.6B as holder count surges 23% in a single month

Centrifuge, the Zug-based protocol that lets institutions issue and manage tokenized funds on-chain, now supports roughly $1.6 billion in total value locked across its platform. The number of holders of those tokenized assets has climbed to about 1,100, a 23% jump in just 30 days. Two funds doing the heavy lifting The bulk of Centrifuge’s TVL comes from two products managed by Janus Henderson, one of the world’s largest asset managers. The first is JTRSY, a tokenized US Treasuries fund valued at approximately $880 million. The second is JAAA, which focuses on AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations and carries a valuation of around $700 million. Together, those two funds account for roughly $1.58 billion of the platform’s total. Collateralized loan obligations, or CLOs, are bundles of corporate loans packaged into securities with different risk tiers. The AAA tranche sits at the top of the credit quality stack, meaning JAAA targets the safest slice of that market.
