Cloudflare just made it possible for your AI agent to have its own identity card and wallet. The cloud computing giant announced cloudflare.id, a persistent identity tool that lets merchants verify an AI agent is actually acting on your behalf, paired with a wallet that holds funds for the agent to spend. Here’s the thing: this isn’t just another enterprise product launch. The wallet functionality connects to the x402 open protocol, which Cloudflare developed in collaboration with Coinbase through the x402 Foundation.
