CoinGecko API lands on API3’s AirnodeHub marketplace for AI agents

CoinGecko’s API is now live on AirnodeHub, the marketplace API3 built so AI agents can buy data without a human in the loop. Agents can now request market data and wallet information from CoinGecko and verify that the answers are genuine. API3 announced the integration on October 20, 2026. CoinGecko amplified the news two days later, on October 22, describing the listing as a source of verified market data and wallet details that agents can check. What AirnodeHub actually does API3 launched the platform in early access on October 5, 2026. It debuted with around 36 data services spanning market data, FX rates, news and weather updates. The defining feature is that every service describes itself in a standardized, machine-readable way. AirnodeHub uses OpenAPI specifications paired with what it calls x-airnode metadata, so an agent can figure out what a service offers without someone writing custom instructions first. The platform also supports agent protocols such as MCP. For now, calls are free while AirnodeHub remains in early access.
