Commonwealth Fusion Systems, the most well-capitalized private fusion energy company on the planet, is signaling it could hit public markets within the next two to three years. For an industry that has spent decades being “30 years away,” the fact that fusion companies are now talking IPO timelines feels like a genuine inflection point.
