Deutsche Bank has flagged the Robinhood Chain as a meaningful new revenue driver for the retail brokerage, adding to a growing chorus of analysts who think the company’s blockchain bet could pay off faster than most expected. The call comes roughly a month after Robinhood launched the public mainnet of its own Ethereum Layer-2 network on July 1, built on Arbitrum technology. In that short window, the chain has already racked up more than $12 billion in cumulative decentralized exchange volume and processed north of 150 million transactions. The numbers behind the hype At its peak, the Robinhood Chain saw daily DEX volumes exceed $800 million. That kind of throughput generates real fees: daily chain fees hit between $3.8 million and $4.5 million during the busiest stretches, implying a potential annualized run-rate above $100 million.
