Elon Musk’s social media platform X experienced a major service outage today, leaving users worldwide unable to access core features of the site.
The disruption, which began around 10:30 a.m. ET, affected users’ ability to load timelines, publish posts, and navigate essential platform functions.
Real-time complaint tracking service Downdetector recorded more than 12,500 user reports at the peak of the outage. The disruption affected users across multiple regions, with complaints spanning North America, Europe, and other major markets.
