ETFs see $100B inflows for 14 consecutive months, becoming the new normal

Every month, like clockwork, more than $100 billion flows into US-listed exchange-traded funds. It’s been happening for 14 straight months now. The numbers behind the streak US ETFs pulled in nearly $1.5 trillion in net inflows for the full year 2025. The first half of 2026 delivered over $1 trillion in net inflows, the strongest first-half performance ever recorded for the industry. February 2026 was a standout, with net inflows landing between $192 billion and $196.7 billion. April followed with $178 billion, of which $139 billion came from equity products alone. The first two weeks of 2026 saw more than $100 billion enter the market. Total assets in US-listed ETFs hit a record $14.28 trillion by the end of February 2026. What’s driving the flood Equity ETFs, particularly those focused on US large-cap stocks, have been the primary magnets for capital.
