Figure signs $3.5B compute deal with Nscale for AI models

Figure AI just locked in one of the largest compute deals in the robotics industry, partnering with UK-based AI infrastructure provider Nscale in a collaboration initially valued at $3.5 billion. The goal: deploy up to 100,000 NVIDIA Vera Rubin GPUs to supercharge Figure’s Helix AI models, which power its humanoid robots. The deal is expected to scale beyond $6 billion over time. Deployments are slated to begin in the second half of 2027, with the hardware landing in Barstow, Texas.
