Hong Kong just got a new blueprint for tokenized finance. On August 5, FORMS HK, Chainlink, Apex Group, CSpro, and Blockchain Valley@Cyberport officially launched the Tokenized Securities Framework, a joint infrastructure initiative designed to standardize how tokenized securities are issued, distributed, and settled in the city. What the framework actually does FORMS HK leads infrastructure orchestration, meaning it coordinates how the various components talk to each other. Chainlink contributes two specific tools: its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol, which allows tokenized assets to move across different blockchain networks, and its Automated Compliance Engine, which handles on-chain regulatory checks. The framework adopts the ERC-3643 token standard. This standard bakes compliance directly into the token itself, rather than treating it as a separate layer bolted on afterward.
