Glassnode data now accessible via AI agents using Coinbase and USDC

Glassnode just made its massive trove of on-chain analytics available to AI agents that can pay for it themselves. Using Coinbase wallets and USDC, AI systems can now autonomously discover, query, and purchase premium Glassnode data without a human ever clicking “subscribe.” How it actually works Coinbase has built out what it calls “Coinbase for Agents” alongside a protocol called x402, both designed to let AI systems conduct financial transactions using USDC digital wallets. On Glassnode’s side, the company has launched a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, currently in beta. The server offers seven distinct tools built specifically for AI clients like Claude and ChatGPT. These tools include capabilities such as fetch_metric and bulk data queries, letting AI agents pull specific analytics without needing a browser or a human intermediary. Glassnode offers over 7,500 metrics across more than 1,200 assets, covering everything from exchange flows to long-term holder behavior to miner revenue breakdowns.
