Goliath Ventures and founder Christopher Delgado face parallel civil actions from two U.S. market regulators, adding to a federal criminal case in which Delgado has already pleaded guilty. Federal prosecutors now list Delgado’s sentencing for October 21 as the criminal investigation continues separately. The SEC and CFTC filed complaints on Aug. 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. The SEC said Goliath Ventures raised at least $425 million from more than 1,300 investors between January 2023 and January 2026.
