Grok Bot sees 6X growth in daily active users in two months

The task-focused AI product from SpaceXAI has seen its daily users grow more than sixfold in under two months, according to a post on X. It has done that with no free tier at all, which makes the curve more interesting than the usual freemium spike. The numbers behind the climb Grok Bot went live in beta on August 11, 2026. It is pitched as a digital coworker rather than a chat window, built to run tasks from start to finish. The examples SpaceXAI highlights include working through email and handling sales outreach, with the bot carrying the job through without someone stepping in at each stage. By September 14, 2026, the product had reached 418,000 weekly users. That was roughly a month after launch. Third-party data from Similarweb fills in the daily picture. It shows daily active users rising from approximately 155,000 on September 20 to around 450,000 by October 17. That Similarweb window alone works out to a near threefold increase in about a month.
