Hark launches proactive AI app Hark Pro ahead of 2027 hardware debut

Hark, the AI startup founded by Brett Adcock, unveiled its first consumer product on October 6, 2026. It isn’t a gadget. It’s an app called Hark Pro, and it’s built to do things for you before you think to ask. The hardware is still coming, with devices expected to ship in 2027. For now, the company is betting that software can prove the concept. What Hark Pro actually does Hark Pro runs on the web, iOS, and Android. It handles chores most people would happily outsource: ordering groceries, booking rides, paying bills, and building spreadsheets. The pitch is proactivity. Most AI assistants wait for a prompt and then respond. Hark says its agent is designed to anticipate needs instead of simply reacting to commands. Under the hood sits Handoff, the company’s proprietary cloud infrastructure. Hark introduced Handoff in August 2026, roughly two months before the app arrived. Handoff can run up to 36 web browsers at the same time. The system is built to manage complex tasks across millions of websites. Pricing follows a familiar playbook.
