During the Cardano Summit 2024, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson discussed the immense future of the Cardano blockchain ecosystem, claiming that it will surpass both Ethereum and Bitcoin.
At the Cardano summit in Argentina, Hoskinson stated that the Cardano blockchain network is set to exceed Ethereum’s scale within the next ten years and will overtake Bitcoin another decade later. In short, he predicted that Cardano will outpace both Bitcoin and Ethereum within the next 20 years. He also predicted that several governments will eventually operate on Cardano’s infrastructure.
Hoskinson emphasised that Cardano’s advanced technology positions it well against competitors. He confidently stated that Cardano is already leading the space in innovation, pointing out the substantial technological gap between Cardano and other blockchain networks, particularly with the introduction of decentralised governance.
Furthermore, Hoskinson addressed the challenges the Cardano blockchain faces. He explained that the team focuses less on marketing tactics and more on ongoing development efforts, ensuring innovation under Cardano’s ecosystem.
In the past 24 hours, Hoskinson has shared several pictures on X (formerly Twitter), teasing rival crypto projects and critics, indirectly showing that the Cardano Summit 2024 had many government officials and visionary leaders discussing a better future.
Some speculated that Argentina might adopt ADA coin as a payment tool due to the growing economic turbulence, where the value of the Argentine peso continues to decline against the dollar.
