IRGC Navy launches missiles at US warships in Strait of Hormuz, US retaliates by striking Iranian oil tankers

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy fired ballistic missiles at two US Navy warships patrolling the Strait of Hormuz on September 5, 2026.
