Yu “JackeyLove” Wen-Bo has collected another silver medal, and this time it comes with an unwanted record. After his Top Esports squad fell to Bilibili Gaming in the LPL Grand Finals, JackeyLove now holds the record for the most second-place finishes in LPL history.
The finals that sealed the record
TES and BLG went the full distance in their Grand Finals showdown, with BLG ultimately taking it 3-2.
This loss marked JackeyLove’s sixth runner-up finish in LPL finals. That’s six times he’s been the second-best team in the league. Six times he’s had to watch someone else lift the trophy.
To put his finals record in context: JackeyLove has now appeared in nine LPL Grand Finals total. He’s won three championships across those appearances.
A career built on extremes
JackeyLove’s resume includes one of the most decorated bot laners in LPL history, a player who won the 2018 World Championship with Invictus Gaming. His three LPL titles are nothing to dismiss, and that’s a Hall of Fame career by any reasonable standard.
JackeyLove has done this across multiple organizations. His career arc spans from his run with Invictus Gaming through his tenure at Top Esports.
What this record means for his legacy
Nine finals appearances in one of the world’s most competitive leagues means that season after season, JackeyLove has remained at or near the top.
JackeyLove also recently returned to TES for the 2026 LPL Split 2 after stepping away from competition due to health issues.
