JPMorgan Chase has poached David Fishman from Bank of America to serve as vice chair and head of its technology mergers and acquisitions business in North America. The move is the latest in a series of high-profile talent grabs from BofA’s tech banking ranks, and it signals just how seriously JPMorgan is investing in what has become Wall Street’s most competitive dealmaking arena. Fishman brings more than 12 years of technology banking experience from his tenure at Bank of America. He’ll join a tech M&A operation that already sits atop the league tables, with JPMorgan ranking first in both US and global tech deal fees in Q1 2026 according to Dealogic data.
