The funding comes through Lido’s LEGO (Lido Ecosystem Grants Organisation) program, which allocated $60K to a grant pool called DUCK FLAP. That pool will subsidize up to 50% of assurance review costs for node operators willing to be early adopters. What ValOS actually does The framework provides practical tools: risk frameworks, control libraries, and communication toolkits. It aligns with established enterprise standards like ISO 27001, which governs information security management, and SOC 2, the audit standard used across cloud computing and SaaS. ValOS also includes self-assessment tools, so operators don’t have to wait for a third-party auditor to start improving. The early-adopter subsidy through DUCK FLAP is meant to lower the barrier for the first wave of validators willing to undergo external assuran...
