Liverpool has signed French forward Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain for an initial fee of £106 million, with a further £17 million in potential add-ons bringing the total package to £123 million. The deal, completed on August 31, 2026, hands Barcola a five-year contract at Anfield and gives manager Andoni Iraola the attacking firepower he’s been searching for since Mohamed Salah’s exit left a crater in Liverpool’s forward line. From Lyon to Paris to Merseyside Barcola first emerged at Olympique Lyonnais before PSG came calling in August 2023, paying approximately £38.5 million to bring him to the French capital. That fee now looks like a bargain, given Liverpool is paying nearly three times that amount to pry him away. At PSG, Barcola racked up 39 goals and 35 assists across 152 appearances. He also contributed to back-to-back Champions League titles and three Ligue 1 crowns during his time in Paris.
