Manus, the AI agent platform that went from obscure Chinese startup to global contender in roughly 18 months, just dropped its biggest update yet. Manus 2.0, which launched on September 28, introduces a new technical backbone called the Cascade architecture alongside a consumer app that lets ordinary people spin up personal AI agents with their own email addresses, phone numbers, and digital wallets.
