MARA Holdings has made its Slipstream transaction service free and open to the public, letting any Bitcoin user submit transactions directly through the company’s mining pool without touching the public mempool. The move turns a formerly restricted infrastructure tool into something any Bitcoin holder can use from a browser. The service is live at slipstream.mara.com, requires no client software, and carries no additional fees beyond standard Bitcoin network transaction costs. What Slipstream actually does When you broadcast a transaction to the public mempool, it sits in a waiting room that anyone can read. Sophisticated actors can spot your transaction, analyze it, and in certain cases exploit that information before your transaction confirms. For multisig setups, particularly those involving Coldcard wallets, this creates a real vulnerability window. Slipstream routes transactions directly into MARA’s mining pool, bypassing that public waiting room entirely.
