Natus Vincere and The MongolZ are set to collide in a best-of-three match at the IEM Cologne Major on June 13, 2026. The Stage 3 round-robin contest pits two of Counter-Strike 2’s most tactically sophisticated rosters against each other, with real bracket implications on the line for both squads.
NaVi enters the matchup sitting at 1-1 in the tournament, while The MongolZ hold a slightly more comfortable 2-1 record. For NaVi, a loss here could mean the difference between advancing with momentum and clawing back from the brink. For The MongolZ, a win would further cement what has already been a strong showing at one of CS2’s marquee events.
Andrii “B1ad3” Horodenskyi is NaVi’s head coach, while maaRaa leads The MongolZ. The match is expected to begin at either 05:00 or 11:00 CEST.
These two organizations have recent history worth revisiting. During the 2025 IEM Cologne quarterfinals, NaVi took down The MongolZ 2-0. The Inferno map went to overtime, finishing 22-18, before NaVi cleaned things up more decisively on Ancient with a 13-6 result.
The IEM Cologne Major itself runs from June 10 to June 22, 2026, and is hosted in Cologne, Germany, as part of the ESL Pro Tour calendar.
The round-robin format in Stage 3 means every match carries outsized importance. NaVi at 1-1 needs wins to stay in contention for a favorable bracket position heading into the elimination rounds. Dropping to 1-2 would put serious pressure on their remaining matches. The MongolZ at 2-1 are in a stronger position, and a win over NaVi would be a statement result at a Major.
