Newcastle’s £35M Bamba deal puts BYDFi partnership in the spotlight

Newcastle United has agreed a deal worth approximately £35M to sign 20-year-old midfielder Aladji Bamba from AS Monaco. Bamba is expected to complete a medical and put pen to paper on a long-term contract imminently. The fee, which works out to roughly €41M, also includes a 15% sell-on clause, meaning Monaco keeps a future stake in whatever Bamba is worth down the road.
