Nvidia’s biggest conference season just got awkward. According to a report published by SemiAnalysis on October 16, 2026, several neoclouds were denied access to Nvidia’s GTC Berlin 2026 event because they had brought AMD GPUs and Google TPUs into their fleets. The timing matters. GTC Berlin is scheduled for October 20 to 22, which means the affected providers learned they were out only days before the doors open. What the SemiAnalysis report says Neoclouds are smaller cloud companies built almost entirely around renting out GPU computing power, mostly for AI workloads. SemiAnalysis attributes Nvidia’s reported pressure to a goal of keeping smaller providers on Nvidia-only fleets. Those fleets would contain no AMD Instinct accelerators and no Google TPUs, which are custom chips Google designed for machine learning. The pressure appears to be selective. According to the report, Nvidia has not applied the same tactics to hyperscalers like AWS and Microsoft Azure, which hold far more purchasing power. The neoclouds are not simply accepting it. The original report indicates some providers are considering switching suppliers to escape the pressure. SemiAnalysis also notes that certain n...
