Paris Saint-Germain generates nearly €400M from summer player sales, marking a strategic pivot

Paris Saint-Germain, the club once synonymous with blank-check spending and galáctico-level acquisitions, just pulled off something nobody saw coming. PSG raked in approximately €400 million from player sales during the summer 2026 transfer window, placing it at the top of European clubs in transfer income. The big exits The headline deal was Bradley Barcola’s departure to Liverpool for around €145 million, bonuses included. That sale alone qualifies as the largest transfer in Ligue 1 history.
