Rabbit launches OS3, a cross-platform agentic operating system that replaces apps with intent

Rabbit Inc. just made its boldest move yet. The company behind the $199 r1 handheld AI device has released OS3, a cross-platform operating system that ditches the traditional app grid in favor of a single chat interface where users describe what they want done, and the system figures out how to do it. Think of it as the difference between manually opening six apps to plan a trip versus telling one system “book me a flight to Tokyo, find a hotel near Shibuya, and add it all to my calendar.” OS3 is designed to handle the orchestration across platforms, devices, and web services without the user ever touching an individual application.
