RC Deportivo has locked in goalkeeper Leonardo Román Riquelme from RCD Mallorca on a five-year contract, marking the club’s second reinforcement ahead of the upcoming season. The deal, confirmed on July 3, 2026, brings the 25-year-old Ibiza-born keeper to A Coruña as Deportivo continues rebuilding its squad for competitive play.
No transfer fee was publicly disclosed, though Román’s estimated market value sits in the range of €6M to €7.4M. That valuation jumped after Mallorca extended his contract through June 30, 2030, just last year, making Deportivo’s move a notable coup.
