Replit CEO warns startups of risks from major AI model providers

Replit CEO Amjad Masad is sounding the alarm on a dynamic that should make every AI startup founder lose a little sleep: the companies building the foundational AI models are increasingly shipping products that compete directly with the startups built on top of those same models.
