SAP CEO Christian Klein restructures company to prioritize AI

SAP just rearranged the furniture at the top of the world’s largest enterprise software company, and it wasn’t subtle. CEO Christian Klein executed a major executive reshuffle on July 1, 2026, designed to accelerate the German giant’s pivot toward artificial intelligence, a strategy he’s calling the “Autonomous Enterprise.” What changed and who’s out The reorganization centers on the redistribution of power within SAP’s product and engineering divisions.
