Silicon Motion Technology just posted the kind of quarter that makes analysts look conservative. The company reported Q2 2026 revenue of $451 million, a 127% jump year-over-year and 32% higher than the previous quarter. That blew past the consensus estimate of roughly $403 million by nearly 12%. Shares surged more than 21% in premarket trading following the July 29 announcement.
