The numbers behind the streak The October figure covers successful non-vote transactions, according to data compiled from several sources, including Blockworks analyst Sam Schubert. That total comes to approximately 3.3 billion for the month. A quick translation of the jargon helps. Solana validators constantly send vote transactions to agree on the state of the chain. Stripping those out leaves the activity generated by actual users and applications: trades, transfers, payments and the like. On a daily basis, October averaged about 109 million successful non-vote transactions. The climb into October has been steady rather than sudden. August logged 2.93 billion successful non-vote transactions. September followed with 3.18 billion. Zoom out to the quarter and the picture gets bigger.
