Four tech titans, SpaceX, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Tesla, each added more than $100 billion in market capitalization in a single trading session. When companies this large move in lockstep like that, it tells you something about the mood in the room. And the mood, apparently, was very good. A synchronized surge of that magnitude across four separate companies implies hundreds of billions of dollars flowing into mega-cap tech in a matter of hours. To put it in perspective, $100 billion is roughly the entire market cap of companies like Starbucks or Goldman Sachs. Each of these four firms generated that much additional value before the closing bell. The scale of what just happened Nvidia has been the dominant force in the global market cap rankings, with a valuation that has climbed to approximately $5.42 trillion, making it the world’s most valuable public company.
