Starknet strkBTC faucet claims go live as registration reopens on the 29th

Starknet’s weekly strkBTC faucet has officially flipped the switch on claims, letting registered users collect their share of privacy-wrapped Bitcoin on the network. Registration for the next round reopens on September 29. The faucet, hosted at strkbtc.starknet.io/faucet, distributes approximately $833 worth of strkBTC per weekly round across up to 100 randomly selected participants. That works out to roughly $8.33 per person. How the faucet actually works The claim process runs in two stages. First, users connect a Starknet-compatible wallet like Xverse, pass a screening confirmation, and receive an unshielded allocation of strkBTC along with a bonus in STRK, Starknet’s native token. Then comes the more interesting part. Users can optionally switch their claim to a “shielded” state through compatible wallets, toggling the visibility of their holdings from public to private. That toggle is powered by what Starknet calls the STRK20 privacy framework, which lets holders move between transparent and shielded states at will.
