Strategy CEO Phong Le says the company aims to become the world’s largest

The Bitcoin treasury firm wants to outgrow Nvidia, Meta, and Google while continuing to add to its holdings of more than 840,000 BTC Strategy CEO Phong Le has set a goal that most executives would only mention in a company retreat after a few drinks. He said the company aims to become the largest company in the world and to keep increasing its Bitcoin holdings. That ambition comes from the firm formerly known as MicroStrategy, a business that started out selling enterprise software. It now holds more Bitcoin than any other corporation on the planet, so the goal is at least backed by a very large pile of digital assets. The scale behind the ambition As of late October 2026, Strategy holds over 840,000 BTC. That makes it the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, a title it has held without much serious competition. The company accumulated approximately 175,000 BTC in 2026 alone. It also sold about 7,000 BTC along the way, leaving it a net buyer of approximately 168,000 BTC for the year to date.
