Strategy Stays on the Sidelines Again but Strive Buys More Bitcoin

Strategy has focused on repurchasing STRC once again, leaving BTC aside for now. The world’s largest corporate holder of bitcoin made a somewhat surprising BTC acquisition at the start of the month but has remained quiet on that front ever since. In contrast, the Matt Cole-spearheaded Strive continues to accumulate, adding another 469 BTC to its stash. Michael Saylor noted on X minutes ago that his company’s cryptocurrency stash remains at 845,050, acquired at an average price of $75,412 per unit. The firm has spent a little over $63.7 billion to acquire the fortune over the past six years, while its current value is about $2 billion higher. Nevertheless, Strategy has made only one purchase in the past almost three months, which was announced on September 1. At the time, the company spent $370 million to buy back 4,603 BTC after selling at much lower prices. Instead, the firm continues to repurchase STRC, splashing another $139 million. Its USD reserve has fallen slightly to $6.4 billion as a result. STRC’s price has recovered substantially since the lows a few months ago when it dipped to $75, currently sitting at over $98.5.
