Strategy Inc., the company that bet its entire corporate identity on Bitcoin, is now moving more shares per day than Google’s parent company Alphabet. A firm that started as an enterprise software vendor is outpacing one of the most widely held stocks on the planet in daily trading volume. The company landed at 17th on the list of most-traded US stocks, recording between 47 and 49 million shares changing hands in a single session. Its 30-day and three-month averages sit somewhere between 16 and 21 million shares. That means recent turnover roughly tripled its own baseline. The company carries a $41 billion market cap. What’s driving the frenzy Strategy’s trading surge isn’t random. The company, which rebranded from MicroStrategy to signal its all-in Bitcoin treasury approach, has become the de facto proxy trade for investors who want Bitcoin exposure through traditional equity markets. Tom Lee of Fundstrat highlighted the scale of Strategy’s dominance within its niche.
