SUI, the native token of the Sui Network, climbed approximately 54% over a 30-day stretch ending in early October 2026. That pace left both Bitcoin and Ether behind during a broader market recovery. The rally didn’t happen in a vacuum. It landed alongside a run of ecosystem news, including a new institutional yield product from Bitwise and a record throughput figure unveiled at Sui’s own developer conference. The numbers behind the move Over the past four weeks, the dollar value of assets deposited in Sui’s decentralized finance apps grew 15.5%. That metric is known as total value locked, or TVL. The four-week gain came even after a 5.2% decline over the most recent week. The pullback lined up with SUI’s price cooling off, which matters because a chunk of that locked value is denominated in the token itself.
