Team Vitality is swapping out its mid lane ahead of the LEC Summer Split, bringing in South Korean player An “FIESTA” Hyeon-seo to replace veteran Marek “Humanoid” Brázda.
FIESTA joins from BNK FEARX Youth, the development squad of the Korean organization. He’s 23 years old, born May 4, 2003, and brings over 200 professional matches to his resume. His career prize earnings sit at roughly $15,547.
Why Humanoid got the bench
Vitality’s Spring Split ended with a disappointing playoff exit. Humanoid was benched following those results.
What FIESTA brings to the table
Over 200 professional matches is a meaningful sample size for a player his age. FIESTA’s time with BNK FEARX Youth put him through one of the more rigorous developmental pipelines in competitive League of Legends.
Team Vitality has been a partner team in the LEC since 2019.
The crypto angle: Vitality’s blockchain ties
Team Vitality established a multi-year partnership with Tezos in January 2022, focused on blockchain integration and fan education within the gaming community. That partnership led to the creation of VIT, Vitality’s fan token, which is tradable on specific platforms.
